What Is a Hydrosol?

Hydrosols — also called floral waters, herbal waters, or essential waters — are pure herbal distillates produced by steam-distilling flowers and herbs. They share many of the same therapeutic properties as essential oils but in a gentler, much less concentrated form, making them safe for direct skin and scalp contact and daily use. Rosemary hydrosol captures the stimulating, strengthening power of rosemary in a pure, spray-on form.
